Sunday Winery Open Houses - 19th annual Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival

Delight in the beauty of Anderson Valley as you travel our  own "Wine Road",  Hwy 128,  and visit the many winery open houses along the way.

You will have the opportunity to sample barrels - taste select older vintages and enjoy many creative food and wine pairings. The sounds of live music will be heard throughout the valley as the 19th annual Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival continues and you expand your personal knowledge of the exceptional wine produced in this small appellation.

 

 

Balo Vineyards: 11am to 5pm

At Balo, it has become a tradition to showcase our Estate Pinot Noirs & Aromatic Whites alongside a tasting menu of Marinated Mesquite Grilled Frenched Lamb Chops, Gourmet Pizzas, Artisan Cheeses & Charcuterie.  Spontaneous winemaker-lead cellar tours and competitive games of bocce are going to break out! Enjoy a 'reserve tasting' of our three recent 94-point Pinot Noirs (until sold out). Black Kite Cellars: 11am to 3pm

Once a year we open our remote but spectacular estate vineyard to our customers. We hope you can join us, as we pour our newest Pinots and Chardonnays, preview some future releases, uncork a few older bottles, tour our estate vines, and soak up the sun – and views – in one of the most magical spots in the valley. Due to the remote nature and size of our vineyard, attendance to the event is limited and reservations are required.  Please RSVP at bkc@blackkitecellars.com or call us prior to the Festival weekend at 415-923-0277. Once you make your reservation we will send you directions. We will also have directions at our booth at the Grand Tasting.
