Anderson Valley is one of the smallest, coldest winegrowing regions in California. With more than half our vineyard plantings in Pinot Noir, the valley's climate is ideal for this delicate, complex red wine. Crisp, aromatic white wines such as Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris also excel here, and over time our appellation has become known as the preeminent producer of Alsace-style white wines in the state. Add to this our local vintners' reputation for crafting excellent sparkling wines, and this small, bucolic region near the Mendocino Coast has quietly built a reputation of excellence spanning 40 years.
We always welcome members of the trade and media to come visit us and experience our excellent wines and friendly, laid-back way of life first-hand.
