Int'l Alsace Varietals Festival Grand Tasting

Meet the winemakers and taste Alsace style white wines from around the world. Enjoy foods perfectly suited for aromatic whites including Tomales Bay oysters, Tart Flambee' and more - all included in your ticket price.

Wines to be poured include Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Muscat.

At 12:00 p.m., prior to the Grand Tasting,  Chef Francois de Melogue of Figue, Palm Springs, will create  an educational and entertaining food/wine demonstration to highlight why so many foods pair beautifully with the wine. The audience will sample his creation of Moroccan Seared Sea Scallop with Preserved Lemon Farrotto and Green Charmoula during the Grand Tasting. At 1:00pm the Grand Tasting opens with over 100 wines to be sampled along with delectable bites at seven food pairing tables.  

It’s an event to brighten even the darkest winter month!
