13th Annual Anderson Valley Aromatic White Wine Festival
Saturday February 24 & Sunday February 25, 2018
(formerly the "International Alsace Varietals Festival" - same great festival, new name!)
Start Saturday morning, February 24, with three Educational Sessions to include seated panel wine & food pairing tastings led by wine and culinary luminaries.
Dive into the afternoon Grand Tasting and experience over 100 aromatic white wines from three dozen producers from around the globe, perfectly paired with locally prepared small bites.
Complete the day with an evening Winemaker Dinner at Scharffenberger Cellars focused on locally sourced ingredients that showcase the specially selected wines from each of the evening's participating winemakers.
Make it a weekend and enjoy Sunday Winery Open Houses, February 25, at the tasting rooms of our participating local producers of aromatic white wines.

Culinary Institute of America Chefs Lars Kronmark and Christie Dufault will share 3 specially paired food bites for each of three different aromatic white wine varietals (Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Riesling) from some of the oldest vineyards in Anderson Valley. SESSION 3. German Riesling Label Law Explained
An exploration of German Wine Label Law as it relates to Riesling, in 4 wines, led by Nationally Syndicated Wine Columnist, Dan Berger.

Artist Gerald Reis has been creating original art to commemorate Anderson Valley wine festivals for many years. The original festival painting will be on sale to the highest bidder!
Prints of Gerald's original paintings will also be available for purchase on-site from the artist. Each print is reproduced from the original on fine archival paper through a high quality printing process called Giclée.
